Bob@ 15:13 22-10-2016: We have a 71 xr7 convertible, 351 2 barrel carb, original one owner car and with only 60,000 miles. Color is lime green with dark green interior, all original and in good condition, except for a crack on the dash and a dried out steering wheel. Any suggestions as to where I can obtain/replace these items would be appreciated. Thanks!

Paul Knafl@ 14:09 28-09-2016: I have owned a 1970 eliminator for about 35 years now . Its competition gold with the factory steel sunroof . Its living in my barn in Michgan now but came from Kentucky with me in 1986 . I wonder how many sunroof eliminators are out there , I haven't ever seen another one in person but did see two others in photos .

I've had my 1970 cougar xr7 convertible for about 10 years. I purchased as a retirement project and now retired as of last year. I'm starting the restoration and pretty excited about it. 70 Cougar Dataplate@ 18:07 02-08-2016: I have a 70 Cougar XR-& convertible but there is no dataplate on the door. I do have the original Customer card and Power Train warranty cards that list where and when it was made and the dealer it was delivered to. This is also a buch of numbers and letters other than the VIN#. Would any of these help provide info on what the original color and specs were for the car when new?

Kudos to Ford for bringing back sequential turn signals. (Mustang)

Patrick Gillis@ 21:34 11-09-2015: This is Patrick again. I had the Marti report run and though it was one of only 34 ordered in this configuration, there is no more information on the brass plate. It remains a mystery. Someone is coming to look at it Sunday. I need the money and have exhausted all avenues so I will let it go if he brings cash. I hate to have no idea what it means. If anyone on here has any ideas, I'm wide open.
